Inspired by cosmic botanical forms, the Transmutation vase 5 is a handmade ceramic vase crafted in our Berlin studio from black stoneware with a handmade glaze made with stones collected during Violaine Toth's travel around Europe. This vase is part of the collection Transmutation, the extension of the previous collection Alien in 2022. Transmutation refers to the process of changing one substance into another. In a broader sense, it can also refer to any significant change or evolution. In alchemy, Transmutation is the conversion of base elements into precious metals, such as gold or silver.
Each piece is wheel-thrown by Violaine and features her signature ornamental details, making every piece entirely one of a kind. Each items is carefully packed with recycled materials.

All products are made from stoneware fired at 1220°C and all tableware products are foodsafe.
Do not use in the dishwasher or microwave.
