In this classes, I’ll teach you all the steps to make a handbuilt ceramic piece which you will take home with you after it’s fired. You will be able to make the shape and object you like, and if you don’t feel inspired, I have planty of ideas for you! After the class, we will glaze and fire your pieces with our selfmade studio glaze (cf: last picture) and will notify you when they are ready to pick it up at the studio within 2 to 6 weeks.
Go further into the process: Option to book a 2 hours glazing class here to paint yourself all the pieces you will make and experiment with a selection of 40+ colors 🎨 (Possibility to book this option up to 24 hours after your wheel class)
You’ll learn the different techniques of handbuilding with clay from slab, coil, pinchpot. I’ll guide you through the different steps to make a handmade pottery.
Content of the Workshop:
- Thinking of a design
- Making of the clay piece with various handbuilding techniques and option between 3 different colors of clay
- Making of ornaments (Textures, handles, feet, decorative elements)
- Glazing of your pieces by us with our selfmade studio glaze or option to glaze yourself during a glazing class

Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to try modeling clay for the first time. If you are more advanced, this class is also suitable to help you perfect your technique and refresh what you’ve already start learning. It’s also great for creative minds looking for help to make an idea come to life.
Only reservations cancelled 7 or more full calendar days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund.
- Please note that due to limited space in our studio we can’t store your pieces for a long period of time. Therefore your ceramics have to be picked up within one months after the creation of your ceramic, otherwise it will be thrown away. Thank you for your understanding 🙂
